What I love about capturing life through the camera lens is the storytelling - the way a single frame can hold emotion, memory, and atmosphere.
The lens has the power to make the ordinary feel EXTRAORDINARY, revealing hidden textures, light, and moments. Photography teaches me to notice and appreciate the amazing details all around us.
Everyone has a story to tell. Having your photo taken can transport you into another world, capturing a moment that feels timeless and beautifully alive.
It might be a vintage-inspired portrait, or the warm, unfolding story of you and your whānau at the beach, because that is the story you want to honour: the memories, traditions, and quiet connections you have created together.
I have loved my journey into photography, constantly challenging my skills and expanding my knowledge while experimenting with fresh ideas and approaches. The path has taken me through nature, whānau, still life, cars and sweeping landscapes, each offering its own lessons and moments of wonder.
What we want from a photograph is to capture a moment in time, evoke a feeling, or preserve something we deeply value. This understanding has led me to seek out scenes of urban life, the blur of moving cars, layers of graffiti, and other expressions of creative energy because these are the things people have invested their passion and spirit into, and photographing them honours that effort.
Photography captures the story.
